Food Composting Machine
I was tasked with creating a solution that could solve an everyday problem of my teams choosing. We ended up picking food waste and came up with an idea of a composting machine that could be found all along singapore taking inspiration from recycling bins

The concept
My team and I came up with the idea of doing something related to food waste. We figured that instead of doing the impossible and trying to prevent food waste, we could try to reduce the amount of foodwaste instead. We conducted surveys on food waste to gain a better understanding before we proceeded.

The planning
We used the "Crazy 8" method and an Effort-value map to come up with an idea that seemed plausible enough to be something that you could use in your everyday life

Final concept
Eventually, after much deliberation, we found that our best idea was a composting machine that could be used nation wide by Singaporeans along with an app which would award "points" that could be spent to claim rewards or earn discounts at supermarkets

Though the physical concept was done, the idea of an app was still looming, we came up with the concept for an app and even some concept photos so that viewers could get a better understanding of our project
